Good Enough Mother and Britax: Learn More About Endeavours Infant Car Seat (VIDEO + GIVEAWAY)

Good Enough Mother and Britax:
Learn More About Endeavours Infant Car Seat

(Disclosure: Britax and SheBuysCars are teaming up to sponsor this post about the Britax #TestDriveParenthood Car Seat Event!)

Years and years and years ago with Cole.
Even though he was second, there was still so much to learn!

You guys.. yeah it’s been a minute since I strapped a baby bundle into an infant car seat, making sure itwas installed properly so that it and the car acted as one in a symphony of safety.

It’s been a minute and a a lot has changed.

That’s a really good thing.

In conjunction with Car Seat Safety Month, Britax the industry leader in quality and safety, is reminding us all (even us “old heads”) about the importantance of making sure this is all done right.

Why is this important? The statistics are sobering.

  • Every 33 seconds, one child under the age of 13 is involved in a crash, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
  • Road injuries are the leading cause of unintentional deaths to children in the United States.
  • Of those children ages 8 and under who died in vehicle crashes in 2014, 26 percent were not restrained by an age-appropriate device such as an infant seat, booster seat or seat belt.
  • Children should ride in a vehicle back seat until they are at least 13 years old.

Let’s go back for a minute. When Casey and Cole were young, the car seat installation was a hassle. I remember making sure it would click when the seat attached to the base. But even then I had my doubts. Was the belt tight enough to keep the seat in place if we had to stop suddenly or worse, got hit by someone?

All of that uncertainty (and I know I am not alone) is about to be cleared up in a major way courtesy Britax, She Buys Cars and Lexus.

I am going to be taking part in a live event at Lexus of Mt. Kisco (New York), where a passenger safety technician will be there to answer all those nagging questions and dispel fears about proper car seat installation. I will share all the good stuff on Facebook live where I will be broadcasting from the Mt. Kisco Lexus dealership for the Britax #TestDriveParenthood event so have your questions ready.

But wait.. THERE’S MORE!

I am thrilled too announce that we’re giving away an Endeavors Infant Carseat! The new Britax Endeavours infant seat is one of Britax’s latest inventions! Safe AND sleek, The Endeavours seat is perfect for city or suburban families. See it has an easy, no fuss way to secure the seat in any car!

At this time, I have no experience with car seats. We’re expecting our first little one on about 2 months. I love the anti-rebound bar for added safety. With the statistics you shared, a safe car seat is so important to protect our little one.

My experience with car seats so far has been positive but I would always be up for a change to a better product.

I am so glad I saw this car seat. I hope to become a grandmother in the not too distant future and will definitely look into the Endeavors car seat for my grandchild.

My experience with carseats has been pleasant in the past. My kids are 11,10, & 7 1/2. I am currently due with baby #4 on 1/9/18. I have a lot to learn about baby things as I haven’t had to purchase anything baby related in quite some time!

I’ve used mostly Graco car seats and have been pretty happy with them. Sometime I think they aren’t very user friendly though. I would love to try a Britax!

My experience would be my husband who is a firefighter. He has lots of knowledge when it comes to it.

We’ve been very fortunate with our carseats in that we’ve liked all of the ones we’ve had and never been in an accident and needed to test them! We haven’t actually tried Britax yet but it’s on my list for this next little one!

Combing the aisles at Target in search of the best deal on Cheerios, it hit Rene Syler like the stench of a dirty diaper on a hot summer’s day. Not only is perfection overrated its utterly impossible! Suddenly empowered, she figuratively donned her cape, scooped up another taco kit for dinner and Good Enough Mother was born.
