Going ROGUE!
Why The 2017 Nissan Rogue Is Perfect
For Parents Of Toddlers OR Teens! (VIDEO)
Hey y’all.
I’m just back from a super-fun trip down south. I went to Greensboro, Georgia as a guest of Nissan a few weeks ago, to drive the Nissan Rogue and the Nissan Rogue Hybrid.
There’s some exciting stuff in the works regarding the 2017 model; it is in the chute to become Nissan’s highest selling vehicle and after a day behind the wheel, I can see why.
Now, you know I’m not not an automotive journalist. But I am a licensed driver. I am a mom. And I know know what I like.
As many of you know, my kids are grown and gone but that means I can speak to several stages of raising the little boogers.
And I’m here to tell you that I could totally see where the Nissan Rogue and the Nissan Rogue Hybrid works for parents of toddlers AND teens!
Here are a few reasons I loved it.
SAFETY
The crossover can be equipped with a rearview camera, all-wheel drive, blind-spot warning system, lane departure warning system, Around View camera and NissanConnect Services, which, BTW, can be controlled with the NissanConnect Services app! Forgot to lock the car and you’re already toasty in bed? Not a problem! Grab your smart phone and VOILA!
WHAT PARENTS OF
TODDLERS WILL LOVE:
Nice space, adjustable seating, the seat belts fit snuggly in between the seats so there is no “gap area” for gunk to fall into.
And then, there’s this.. look ma’! No hands!
WHAT PARENTS OF
TEENS WILL LOVE
Okay this is the phase I remember most since it was most recent or me. But check this out. Geofencing allows parents to set speed, curfew and boundary limits on learning drivers. Can you believe that? Yes. You can been the car with the kids (sort of ) without the white knuckles.
I loved the ease of handling and for me, one f those people who turns junk into art, I loved the fact that I could be tooling around, pull over and spot something that MUST got in the back.
All in all, the Nissan Rogue and the Nissan Rogue Hybrid are modestly priced, another bog plus.
Check out the 2017 Nissan Rogue here or at your local deal.. .. and tell them you heard about it from Good Enough Mother
In the meantime.. a few more snaps from my trip down south.. ENJOY!
I had a great day with my drive partner, Christen Rochon of DivasAnd Dorks.com. You can see here we tried to drive a couple of antique tricycles… Um.
Walking in TALL COTTON!
What unprocessed cotton looks like.
A cool shot..
Boiled peanuts anyone? A southern staple.. have you ever had them? Do you like them?
