The Adventure Park at Discovery Museum (VIDEO)

Wooooo-sahhhhhh!

Yep, ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls.. that was EXACTLY what I said after Nicole Sanders (of Ladimax Sports and Fitness) came down from the trees!

Okay let me explain.

We started a thing this summer called #FieldTripFriday where we would leave the office a little early on  a Friday afternoon and try out some kind of new and different physical activity.

A couple of Fridays ago it was the Adventure Park at Discovery Museum.

Located in Bridgeport, Connecticut, the “aerial forest ropes park” consists of  “180 platforms installed in the trees and connected by various configurations of cable, wood, and rope to form bridges and zip lines.”

And Oh.My.GOD it is so much fun!

The courses are marked so everyone from beginner to the most experiences can make part.

Nicole has done this before but it was my first time.

I kid you not, I have never laughed as hard as I did that afternoon.

Nicole and I are in pretty good shape.. so I figured it wouldn’t be hard for us to get to the double black diamond course.

Um…..

Okay yeah (that means we never got there.. ) Oh and this was my first time on a zip line. EVER!

All in all it was an afternoon of great fun. I would highly recommend the Adventure Park at Discovery Museum!

Take a peek at the gallery for the rest of our snapshots!

Nicole Sanders is in AWESOME shape. But the thing that was so great about this trip was that even someone of her skill level was challenged. We were beat when it was done!
