STOP

Tales From A Twin Mom:
4 Things Mothers Of Multiples
Need To Stop RIGHT NOW!

It’s the beginning of a new year. Many take this opportunity to start fresh. We tell ourselves that we need to kick bad habits, and improve both ourselves and our ways. I’ve always been weary of this, but like every other person out there, I make my list and dive right in. What I have discovered is that the things that I put on my list-beyond the usual “healthy me, exercise more” fallacies are the ones that actually make it to the end of the year.

As mothers, we need to make an effort to stop doing at least one of these things. Why? It’s simple. If we continue doing these things we will poison our minds, and thus, ourselves. So what could possibly be on my list? Read and find out. When you’re done, let me know what I missed. I learn as much from all of you as you hopefully learn from me!

3. Stop Comparing Your Body

You can't compare yourself to the celebrity that had a baby the same time as you did. Why? For one, you probably don't have the personal body-bounceback trainer that they do! You also have to understand that every single body is different. You just had two (or maybe three) babies. That's extraordinary! Take care of yourself and your body. Eat healthy, get some exercise and forget about the rest. You'll lose a lot of weight once they're running around in different directions. Also, you'll be so busy from all that running that remembering to eat regularly will be the last thing on your list...

Always remember that it took you months to gain that weight. You can't expect to lose it all in a matter of weeks. Celebrities make it look easy because they get help that no one else does.
