It’s the beginning of a new year. Many take this opportunity to start fresh. We tell ourselves that we need to kick bad habits, and improve both ourselves and our ways. I’ve always been weary of this, but like every other person out there, I make my list and dive right in. What I have discovered is that the things that I put on my list-beyond the usual “healthy me, exercise more” fallacies are the ones that actually make it to the end of the year.

As mothers, we need to make an effort to stop doing at least one of these things. Why? It’s simple. If we continue doing these things we will poison our minds, and thus, ourselves. 1. Stop Judging Other Parenting Methods

This isn't a simple task, and I am the first to admit it. When I see a new mom doing something “wrong,” I have a very hard time not telling them. The truth is that there is no wrong way to do things (unless it's dangerous to the child or parents of course). Case in point: Breastfeeding vs Bottle feeding. You do what works for you and your family. Stop asking other mothers why they choose to do either. If their method is working, and they're not complaining or asking for your feedback then just move on!
