Yes, I am happy at this moment.

*If you could go back and say anything to your 16-year-old self now – what would it be?

If I could go back to my sixteen year old self and say something to myself, it would be to take care of myself first.

*What’s the most important thing you’ve learned this year?

The most important thing I’ve learned this year is to be myself and believe in my dreams.

*What do you most want to achieve in the next 12 months?

The things I want to achieve the most in the next twelve months would be to lose enough weight and become active enough to feel healthy and good about myself. I also want to do the best I can in all that I attempt to do.

*What’s your secret to happiness?

My secret to happiness, is that I choose to be happy, grateful, and positive.

*What one ritual or practice keeps you grounded?

I constantly put myself in a place where I think of other people who have it worse than I do.

*What’s your biggest regret?

My biggest regret is not putting myself first.

*What’s the most important lesson you’ve taught your kid(s)?

The most important lesson I’ve taught my children is to listen to their instinct.

*What bad habit would you most like to change about yourself?

The bad habit that I would like to change about myself is to control my emotional eating patterns.

*Aside from motherhood/fatherhood and marriage what are you most proud of in your life?

Aside from motherhood and marriage, the single most achievement I am proud of is earning a position on the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

*When were you happiest?

I try to be happy all of the time; but I am happiest when my children are content and happy themselves.

*What ten words best describe you?

The ten best words to describe me are: positive, grateful, giving, loving, loyal, trustworthy, consistent, organized, hard-working, reliable.


Jackie Psarianos is a former instrumental music, art and core curriculum teacher who loved working with middle school students but had to shift her focus to her son’s autism therapy soon after his diagnosis. Her daughter is entering her last year at university and hopes to pursue her interest in medicine. Jackie has been married for twenty-three years to her high school sweetheart, who works as an Air-Traffic Controller in Toronto.

Jackie and her family have a passion for vacationing at any of the Disney Parks and have sailed ten cruises on all four ships in the Disney Cruise Line fleet.

Jackie loves reading, cats, anything related to Disney and cupcakes.
