In Case You Missed It:
Friday Roundup

Hi everyone and happy Friday! Another week has come and gone and we’ve officially kicked off the Holiday Season! I know, I can’t believe it either.

Anyway, here’s a quick peek at some of the great stories we shared this week in case you missed any of them.

paying cash

Do you give your kids an allowance? If you do, do you let them do what they want with the money or do you have some say in it? Take a look at Ask Rene: Kids And Money – The Allowance Argument to see what Rene thinks about it.

Some of you may have seen our Breast Cancer Survivor Stories last month; something we do annually to bring awareness to Breast Cancer research and to allow Survivors to share their stories with you. We finished up the month of October by sharing the last of the stories we received and we really hope you enjoyed it!

Last weekend would’ve been Dave’s late wife’s birthday and in his column, Our Story Begins, he shared how he and his children remember Andrea on her birthday in A Day to Anticipate, Not Dread.

Rene went on a super fun road trip last week and in this week’s Monday Morning Motivation, she talks a bit about it. Don’t miss All Roads Lead You To Where You Are Supposed To Be!

Have you ever thought you failed at something only to find out later that you did not? Read Wendy’s Single Mom Slice of Life: Faux Failure and read about how success does not look the same for all of us.

Lipstick is one of those things that I don’t wear because I never know what brand is best or what color to use. Karen gives so great suggestions in GEMs Of Beauty: Lip-Smacking Good – don’t miss it!

Speaking of the holiday season, be sure to read The Doctor Is In: How To Beat The Battle Of The Bulge This Holiday Season for some great alternatives to some of your very favorite holiday dishes.

I hope you enjoyed the roundup and that all of you have a great weekend!
