Truth be told this really wasn’t at all how in pictures my life playing out.
I didn’t plan on losing my job and my hair in the same year. I couldn’t fathom being the daughter of two breast cancer survivors. I didn’t plan on taking such a radical decision regarding my own health. I hadn’t planned on becoming an advocate form women’s health.. Or an advocate of any kind.
Funny how life works out because those things.. All of them are exactly what happened.
We have to let go of the life we planned so we can live the one in front of us and thats what I decided to do.
I used the things happening I my life and built a platform to help women. What a tasty glass of lemonade that bunch turned out to be!
Now I am humbled and excited to join to be part of the #GameChangers campaign and Twitter party with UPTOWN and Kia, highlighting #GameChanger’s in their profession, community and culture. Special guests and hosts will join in the hour long party which will include conversations and a celebration of those that are inspirationally crafted.
UPTOWNMagazine.com and Kia Motors have come together to recognize both individuals and a fleet of vehicles that have been redesigned with style, power and make a lasting impact on those they touch.
Attendees will also get the opportunity to be acquainted with vehicles from Kia including the K900, Kia Sorento and Kia Optima.
