Tales From A Twin Mom: 4 Lessons You’ll Learn
The First Year Of Parenthood

We learn an enormous amount of things after just one year of parenthood. Are they valuable things? Some are but to be honest, many aren’t. Nevertheless, we learn them and they forever change our lives.

3. Time Management

Remember when you slept in on Sundays and looked at the time and didn't flinch? Sundays were made for relaxing and that is exactly what you were doing. Those days are long gone. Not only will you become a time management pro but you will calculate everything. When you look at a clock you no longer see a quarter to one- you see a quarter to nap time. You will learn to feed and change your child right before going out so that you know exactly how much time you have to work with. The fun doesn't stop there… the moment you are in bed and ready to catch some zzz’s you will calculate how much sleep you will get that night if you were to instantly fall asleep (which by the way- never happens).

Lesson Learned: Although you may never use algebra during adulthood you’ll wish you could thank your elementary school teacher for teaching you how to tell time!
