Good Enough Mother Salutes:
Stephen Curry (VIDEO)
Okay, hello? I just watched the.cutest.thing.ever!
First the backstory; I am not a huge sports fan. I guess the NBA playoffs are happening now (told you I wasn’t a huge sports head). Anyway, I typically pay no attention to the post game press conference but this one was different.
Stephen Curry, the Golden State Warrior star, took his adorable 2-year-old daughter Riley to the podium for the post-game press conference.
First, Riley begged to get on dad’s lap. Then she wanted to sit on the other leg. Then she admonished him for speaking to loudly. Then she yawned, fake sneezed and when none of that garnered his attention, Riley got down and played peek-a-boo.
In other words, she acted like a normal two-year-old.
Watch for yourself.

The fact that Stephen Curry could multi-task, the fact that he is obviously a hands-on dad, nearly blew the heads off some basketball/sports purists.
Look, I have been on both sides of this; I have been on deadline and I have been a mother. I still am. And you know what?
Get a freaking grip!
Curry answered the questions, his daughter got some quality time and in a world of super serious stuff, we got a peek at something so pure and wonderful.. a dad making sure his kid knew that she was an important part of his life.
What do you think? Do you think Curry should have had his daughter at the podium? Are the sports writers justified or do they need a coffee enema?
Take the poll!
