Enjoy and seize the moment in front of you because once it is finished it can never be retrieved. You can only control what you do today, which will have a ripple effect on the near future. By focusing on your task at hand, you'll complete it properly and without fail. Furthermore, you won't have time to worry needlessly about tomorrow. Things have a way of falling into place anyway, so let impending things arrive when they arrive. Life unfolds in the present, yet we spend countless hours ruminating about the past and what will be, all the while, allowing the present to slip away. When we're at work we dream of being on vacation, yet, when on vacation we worry about the pile of tasks that await at work. We always feel as if we have to be doing something and hardly take the time to be still, to be quiet and to be calm. We need to become more mindful which means we need to give intentional attention to the present. When this happens we observe our thoughts instead of allowing our thoughts to carry us away.
