Making an effort to be more patient, polite and kind in public is a positive action. Practicing this can be difficult, given that often many folks in public are in a rush, distracted by their own issues, therefore appearing to be inconsiderate, or even rude. Pay no heed to that, remind yourself they may have big challenges and go about being polite. Thanking the grocery clerk for their help, asking about their day and wishing them a nice day will not only enhance the clerks day, but yours too.
