In December one of the patron’s of Disneyland in California exposed the park to the measles. Unfortunately because of that one case, the outbreak has been spread to 16 other states. According to the CDC there were more cases of measles in January than we usually see in an entire year. I hope these 5 things will help you prevent your family by getting hit with this outbreak.


1. How Did The Measles Outbreak Start At Disneyland?

The patient that had the measles was contagious at Disneyland and surrounded by people who weren't vaccinated. As you can imagine, there are people from all over the world at the "Happiest Place On Earth" so this explains how the measles spread across the country so quickly (in a month).
