The 5 Things You Must Do To Be Mentally Tough!
Hey everyone; welcome to another fabulous Monday!
I’ve been thinking a lot lately about mental toughness primarily because I feel my own wavering from time to time.
It’s not any kind of crisis but more the ebb and flow of working for yourself and trying to make some s*t happen.
I’m only human and I get tired like everyone else and currently my fatigue centers around writing.
Don’t get me wrong, I do like to write but lately the deadlines and demands have felt more like a chore and one that’s been sapping my creativity.
Against that backdrop I read this piece about Seattle’s Russell Wilson and how he keeps going.
“I have great people around me helping me with that,” Wilson said, noting the old “nature vs. nurture” debate as to how much of this he’s born with and how much is learned. “People like Trevor Moawad and Dr. Gervais and Mark Rodgers my agent, but he’s more than that he’s really like my best friend. I talk to them a lot, and they keep me going the right way.”
Wow. He said a mouthful. If you want to keep going in the right direction you have to have people helping you along the way. In other words.. as I have said before, surround yourself with the right people.
