Happy Saturday all!
I love and I mean absolutely LOVE resilient people. I have spent quite a bit of time around many of them, trying to soak in the lessons that they throw off and furthermore, how I can be more like them.
My husband is a great example. Buff works for himself and anyone who does that knows the ups and downs that go with it. And yet he rarely gets down (or at least he doesn’t show it), opting instead to soldier on.
See the thing is, we all go through hard times but we have to remember what Winston Churchill said, “If you’re going through hell, keep going.”
Simple but true.
So for today’s 10 from GEM, here are 10 things to learn from tough times.
2. You Learn How Strong You Are
One of the things I am most proud of in my life (and I talked about it in my own Life Lessons is the idea that I am still standing. In two years I lost my job, my breasts and my hair and I'm still standing. The thing is you never know how strong you really are until you are tested. Remember that next time everything is happening at once.
