Happy Saturday all!
I love and I mean absolutely LOVE resilient people. I have spent quite a bit of time around many of them, trying to soak in the lessons that they throw off and furthermore, how I can be more like them.
My husband is a great example. Buff works for himself and anyone who does that knows the ups and downs that go with it. And yet he rarely gets down (or at least he doesn’t show it), opting instead to soldier on.
See the thing is, we all go through hard times but we have to remember what Winston Churchill said, “If you’re going through hell, keep going.”
Simple but true.
So for today’s 10 from GEM, here are 10 things to learn from tough times.
1. You Learn Who Your Friends Are
Let's face it; when the Champagne is flowing everyone is your friend. It's only your "ride-or-die's" who will drink box wine out of Red Solo cups with you. Those are the people who help get you through and when you find them, treasure them. Return the favor when they need it.
