To Beat The Winter Blues!
Hey everyone! Happy Saturday!
See that pretty picture up there? That’s my yard. Looks great, right? Yes.. when you’re on the inside looking out, yes it is quite lovely.
But when you have to get out in it, well that can be another story. And frankly day, after day, after DAY of it starts to wear on you a bit.
Things will warm up but until they do, it’s time to develop a good coping strategy for dealing with the cold, dreary days.
So for those of you in cold weather climates, today’s 10 from GEM is especially for you.

1. Get Some SUN!
Though there may not be a lot of them, you really need to take advantage of sunny days. Studies have shown one of the reasons we get the winter blues is because of a lack of Vitamin D, which is produced by the body when its exposed to the sun's UVB rays. With shorter, colder days, we're just not out that often so we may not get as much as we need.
