October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and it is projected that 1 in 8 women will develop breast cancer. It is being diagnosed younger and younger these days so we need to talk to our daughters and their friends about their breast health.

 

1. Exercise

Daily exercise is important to maintain a good healthy weight. Fat cells produce estrogen and high levels of this hormone have been linked to cancers. You should try and get 150 minutes a week of cardio exercise. If that is too much, 75 minutes of vigorous activity a week.
