This is the last weekend of summer. Fall officially starts on Monday at 10:29 PM EST, so get out today and tomorrow and make the most of it. You could say goodbye to summer by planning some of the many cool things you can do in the fall. This is a great season full of activities that you might have avoided in the summer because it was too hot and you want to get them in before it’s too cold. Need some ideas? Keep reading for some family-friendly activities and one that’s just for adults.

1. Visit An Apple Orchard

You really can’t go wrong with an apple orchard. Most of them are not simply places where you pick a few apples and go home. No, these are full-day, family affairs with kids’ farms, hayrides, mazes, cafés, bakeries, bonfires, entertainment, and lots of apples, of course. Orchards are a one-stop shop of fall fun.
