Hey y’all! It’s time to rise and shine again! That’s right.. another Monday which means another chance to make your mark on the world.
Working for yourself.. being your own boss.. sounds really great right? We see entrepreneurs once they’re terribly successful; they have money and staff and people to help at every turn.
You know what you don’t see?
Setting my alarm for 5 am so I can write today’s content on Good Enough Mother.
Or my husband, Buff, who’s up at 5:30 so he can get map out his day.
So I got thinking about the things that separate entrepreneurs from the rest of the world. In the near decade that Good Enough Mother has been around (yes, nearly a decade) here are the 5 things I have learned and why most people will never work for themselves.
1. They Are Afraid Of Change
My mother used to tell me when I was a kid that the only constant in life is change. It meant nothing to me then; everything to me now. Change is inevitable, especially when you work for yourself. Some of it is change that you bring about yourself and some of it is that which is foisted upon you. Either way it's hard so just get ready for it.
