As you know, we like to present the full picture and spectrum of motherhood here at Good Enough Mother. That often includes the parts that are not the stuff of Hallmark commercials. Real life is real hard and at the moment, I cannot think of a more poignant example of this.
Loriana Hernandez-Aldama is a wife and mother; the former news anchor is currently in the biggest battle she’s ever faced.. she’s fighting leukemia.

Regularly, Loriana must leave her toddler and husband so that she can check into the hospital for another round of treatment. To say it’s been tough is a true understatement.
I asked her if she would become part of #TeamGEM and share her journey with us, which Loriana agreed to do.
