4 Reasons To Ride The Napa Valley Wine Train
Well. we did it! My sister, Tracy and I pulled off the surprise of the century! Okay, that might be a bit of hyperbole but let me say there was one birthday girl who thought it was.
You’ll recall I told you a few days ago that my sister was taking my mother, Anne, on a business trip to California with her. The visit was two-fold; Tracy was there, as I said, on business but it was also a chance to celebrate mom’s 81st birthday. So along with taking her to our old stomping grounds (we grew up in Northern California), we planned a surprise trip aboard the Napa Valley Wine Train.
It was, in a word, spectacular!

We timed the visit perfect too; the Napa Valley Wine Train is celebrating its 25th year in business! And it is the 150th anniversary of the rail corridor. So along with the spectacle, beauty and grandeur, we got a good dose of history and celebration.
