Life Lessons:
Allison Moore

*Are you happy at the moment?

I am very happy at the moment. I am actually smiling for seemingly no reason. My happiness comes from a place where I choose to focus on everything positive surrounding me with very minimal to no focus on anything negative.

*If you could go back and say anything to your 16-year-old self now – what would it be?

To my 16 year old self:

Dear Allison. You are an awesome, intelligent, and beautiful bright young woman. Although you have experienced many losses, it will all make sense one day. It was not your fault, you did the best you could, and everyone who helped you become the person you are today did the best they could with what they knew and what their experiences taught them. Never give up! Never give in! Never conform! You were born unique, you were born great and no matter what it looks like, your greatness will push through the obstacles and you will become a major source of inspiration to women, young and old!

*What’s the most important thing you’ve learned this year?

Have you ever made a decision, maybe an emotional one, and it didn’t turn out the way you thought it would? That was me. This year the most important thing I learned was at every moment I have the opportunity to choose again. No matter where my previous choice has led me, I can choose again!

*What do you most want to achieve in the next 12 months?

In the next 12 months I want to achieve an expansion in my territory so I have to accept new clients. I desire the exposure to be a catalyst for change in the lives of women who have been praying for it. I want to see even the most successful women everywhere experience their “Prison Break” personally and professionally. I have a list of 10 cities I would love to tour and impact and take on new clients.

*What’s your secret to happiness?

Do you sometimes stay awake at night with feelings of being unhappy with the events of the day, or maybe even with your life overall? I had many sleepless nights until I learned this secret. It’s actually very cliché, but the secret to happiness is knowing that I become what I think about and ultimately attract more of that. Our thoughts may habitually emphasize first and foremost the discouraging side of every situation, or compulsively predict a catastrophe at the end of every pleasant moment. Such gloomy thinking drags our feelings into the dumps. I am extremely conscious of the effects of subconscious thoughts. I have trained myself to think exclusively of what I want so my life is filled with the wonderful things I choose to put my attention to.

*What one ritual or practice keeps you grounded?

One practice that keeps me grounded is two fold. Prayer and meditation. This is something I have learned to do before I even leave my bed in the morning. I place focus on being divinely guided for the day. I AM Divinely Guided, I Always take the right turn in the road. I Expect the best and with Gods help I attain the best, and God Makes a way when there is no way. These are just a few examples of some of the things I may say. Its not easy but its simple!

*What’s your biggest regret?

Do you often regret what you have done in the past? My regrets at one point were never ending, however I AM at a different place in my life and I can honestly say that I have no regrets. I believe that everything was the way it was and now is the way it is and it could not have been any other way!

*What’s the most important lesson you’ve taught your kid(s)?

The most important lesson I have taught my kids is to be true to themselves. Once you are true to yourself you become authentic and are true and honest with others.

*What bad habit would you most like to change about yourself?

I can be a bit of a procrastinator at times which is the one thing I would change. I seemed to be fueled with working under pressure.

*Aside from motherhood/fatherhood and marriage what are you most proud of in your life?

I am most proud of my extraordinary transformation in my life and business. What seemed to be a life of failure in every way, is now a life of success in every way. I created a new life for myself.

*When were you happiest?

I was and am always happiest spending time with my family. I don’t think of anything missing lacking or broken when I am with them and they help me remember that nothing else matters.

*What ten words best describe you?

Inspirational, Transformational, Positive, Successful, Attractive, Loving, Creative, Extraordinary, Intelligent, Compassionate

I work with women teaching them principles on how to recover from lifes setbacks! I am passionate about it because of my own personal story. At some point, I have experienced job loss, health crisis, divorce, business start-up, you name it. The most impactful experience was being labeled a habitual offender and given a 7-year prison sentence. After release I wrote a book, started a practice and founded www.pamperperfectmobilespa.com which now operates in 11 states in the US.

In short, I learned that nothing is impossible with the right perspective and learning to ultimately only focus on what you want…not the loss or crisis itself. I saved myself by redefining what a successful life looked like for me. Too often we paint a picture of success the way media or the world around us portrays it. Then when our life is not a mirror of that picture we feel like failures (or NOT Good Enough). Stop by and visit me at AllisonTMoore.com.
