Where In The World Is Good Enough Mother?
San Diego, Baby And Golf For A Cure!
Happy Thursday my peeps! Just checking in quickly with a programming update.
As you know, I spend quite a bit of time on the road, traveling for Sweet Retreats (click here to see all the fabulous places we have been) but now, well, now I get to travel for fun.. and a good cause too.
Buff and I are headed to San Diego for a couple of days of fun and sun. We’re playing in the American Airlines Celebrity Gold and Tennis to benefit the Susan G. Komen Foundation. We’re so excited to see our friends who come every year; it’s a little like summer camp. With better food.
The event is 3 days of golf and tennis, food and fun at two of the most beautiful courses around, The Park Hyatt Aviara and the Del Mar Country Club. Of course, there is a serious side too. Breast cancer continues to kill more than 40, 000 women (and men) each year. That has to stop.
It’s also one of the reasons we set aside the entire month of October, Breast Cancer Awareness Month, to tell the stories of women (and men) who have battled the disease and won.

Of course, it will be business as usual around here; under the watchful eye of the wonderful Jackie Gailey and the contributors, there will still be a boatload of content.
In the meantime, you can check in on my really bad golf game by following me on Twitter, Instagram and Facebook for updates, and trust me, this ought to be good; I haven’t picked up a golf club since this event LAST year!
Be well everyone and let’s keep fighting until we have a cure!
