If you are looking for something full of homemade creativity these days you are looking on Pinterest.  Yes, the ideas are almost impossible to create in your own home (or so it would seem), but we are giving you a few days to gather ingredients and confidence and have something incredibly sweet for your sweetie on Valentine’s Day.  Here we go.  My picks for Pinteresting Valentine’s Day treats.  (Don’t forget to click on the pictures for the recipes.)

Make sure you get the right tip to write the words.  I’ve found that trying to “wing it” with the closest you can find makes you look like a stalker.

5. RED VELVET MOLTEN LAVA CUPCAKES

Everything in minis says love, you know why?  You can eat twice as many and feel half the guilt. So go ahead and double the recipe.  Love handles be damned!  And “surprise!” they have gooey chocolate on the inside.

6. HEART SHAPED CRUST

If your sweet baboo is a pie person don’t fret!  You can make this great crust by using a cookie cutter.  Even better if you take the sugar and color it pink (Add one or two drops of food coloring to your sugar, mix.  If the color is too light add one drop and mix until you get it right.  If it is too dark just add more sugar.)

7. COOKIE STICKS

8. ICE CREAM CONE CAKE POPS

Yum.  Yum.  And more yum!  These are essentially cup cakes in a cone.  Bonus: You can have ice cream on the side.  I’m in love with the cake pop.

The best part about a parfait is you set the rules.  So if you are looking for a healthier treat you can definitely use yogurt instead of whipped cream for this treat for your mate.

10. STUFFED STRAWBERRIES

This is cheesecake in a strawberry.  You can substitute chocolate for the cheesecake if you want and you can even make the crust Oreo cookies instead of graham crackers. Viva la differnce!
