As you all know, I had a wonderful opportunity to be one of the speakers at the Disney Social Media Moms Celebration a few weeks back. I met some amazing women making a name for themselves by carving their own path in social media and I count them as my friends and heroes.
A couple of those really cool chicks are Jennifer Marx and Sara Varney of Passporter.com, a travel website.
Fun fact here; after I gave my speech, I got off stage and returned to my seat. My work husband Richard and I were looking at the Twitter stream where the number of people following me had all of a sudden increased exponentially following my speech. Before we knew it, there was a photo of the two of us, hunched over the laptop that mischievous Sara had taken and tweeted. That’s when I knew we would be fast friends!
Earlier this week, Jennifer and Sara had me on their radio show, where we talked all things Good Enough Mother and relived our wonderful time in the Magic Kingdom.
