So I’m having a crazy day today of meetings, appointments and a red carpet event later tonight – all while juggling my usual mommy duties! That’s a heck of a lot of plates spinning in the air…

But I saw this story today and just knew we had to debate this one here at Good Enough Mother.

The story focuses on a recent survey of 1,000 business travelers conducted by the Business Travel and Meeting Show. The survey found that three quarters of the respondents cited CHILDREN as the most annoying aspect of their flights. And let’s be honest – we’ve all been there – crying babies, whiny kids kicking the back of your seat, overtired children running wild…

So what’s the solution? For years trains have featured quiet coaches where even cell phone use is restricted. Should planes introduce kid free sections or offer all passengers the option of a quiet seat? And should passengers have to pay extra for this privilege?

Taking the argument one step further should there even be kids free flights? Or are these travelers just being grumpy and unreasonable?

So here’s today’s GEM Debate… should planes include kid-free zones?

Start commenting everyone… I’m sure you’re all going to have a LOT to say on this issue…
