Yesterday, we told you about Le Hoang Bao Tran, the young Vietnamese girl who is being groomed to be one of the world’s next top supermodels. She’s twelve! Our question of whether you would allow your young daughter to model was met with mixed reactions; a few of you thought it was fine as long as you were nearby, others disagreed. So today we continue on our theme of young girls growing up at light speed with this question…
Today I stumbled across an article about girls as young as eight-years-old getting what’s called “Virgin Bikini Waxing”. It’s pretty much what it sounds like – a service for girls aged 8 years and up who have never shaved before. Apparently it can save your daughter a lifetime of waxing and there’s even a salon in Manhattan that gives discounts for its young clientele.
Now I have my own opinion about this process (as if there was ever any doubt) but I want to hear from you first. Do you think it should be ILLEGAL for pre-pubescent girls to get a bikini wax? Or is it a harmless process along the lines of getting braces and ear piercing…
