SO LONG COLUMBIA, IT WAS GREAT TO MEET YA!

Good Enough Mother is headin’ out! After a whirlwind trip to the South Carolina capital, it’s time to head back to Charleston and the hell raisers, er I mean, my angels.

I actually must say I missed those buggers, underscoring in my mind again, how important it is for mommy to get away, even if it is for work.

Speaking of which, I had a great time at the WLTX newsroom talking all things Good Enough Mother. Here I am with Darci Strickland and Andrea Mock.

Then it was on to Books-A-Million for the book signing. Thanks to the all those who came out!

Okay rushing down Interstate 26 to get back to kids who have no doubt, driven MY mother crazy. I wonder if they missed me as much as I missed them. I wonder if they even noticed I was gone!

GEM is a real gem! Everyone who met her during this quick visit to Columbia discovered a truly down-to-earth, caring woman with a wonderful wit and the ability to share insightful personal stories to help others navigate the joys and the pains of parenthood. Keep the great postings coming, GEM. You’re great!!!!!

Saw Rene on Awareness this morning with Brandi Cummings and was truly enlightened. Such an inspiring woman with a beautiful spirit that radiates from any media that she’s in. So happy that I watched this morning before heading out to church.

Combing the aisles at Target in search of the best deal on Cheerios, it hit Rene Syler like the stench of a dirty diaper on a hot summer’s day. Not only is perfection overrated its utterly impossible! Suddenly empowered, she figuratively donned her cape, scooped up another taco kit for dinner and Good Enough Mother was born.
