Get a life of your own. That’s what Good Enough Mother wanted to scream when I saw this clip. This is from TLC’s Toddlers and Tiaras which frankly, watching any part of makes me uneasy.
Is it the mother’s wide-eyed, mad dash for the stage, with wig held in hand? Is it her pushing her own dream onto her daughter, under the guise of “ Teeghan is pumped”? Is it watching a three year old with more make-up and hair spray than a New York City Rockette? Is it her tearful plea at the end of the clip “ I WANNA GO HOME”?
I’m pretty sure, it’s all of the above.
