So we made it to Friday, whoo hoo! And not a moment too soon…
Ever have one of those weeks where it literally feels like you’ve lived a lifetime in just seven days?
I had one of those weeks this week. The last seven days have been so stressful and emotional because I had to make some decisions that reminded me that I am not living in a vacuum… that when I make a decision I can’t just think about myself – but have to consider my family. And sometimes that means painful choices.
I know that sounds basic but this week underscored that being a mother means letting go of selfish things, like pursuing job opportunities that might be great for you, but NOT for your family.
Ever been there? Do you wish you could you have both – the perfect home life – and the dream job?
