Go, GEM, GO!

I try to keep you as up-to-date on happenings around the GEMpire and we’ve got a couple of big things going down.

I got a call a few weeks ago from producers at The Doctors. It seems they’ve been checking out Goodenoughmother.com,  are diggin’ what we’re doing and asked if I could wing my way out there for an appearance. Well, I had to really mull it over because you know how much I hate to be away from my family and all….

Yeah, it pretty much went down like that. I taped the show a few seasons ago and it was a blast. You can read all about the travels and see backstage photos here. So, I’m jetting out to sunny Southern California for the taping. What to wear, what about my hair and on it goes. But of course, that all those things take a backseat to the information about what we’re all trying to do, be the best (good enough) parents we can be. You know, the stuff you guys have  been reading about for years now.

It’s been a crazy, busy time around here. Yesterday, a crew from AOL.com was at the house, taping their very popular “You’ve Got…” segment. Here are a few behind-the-scenes snaps.
