Monday Morning Motivation: Are You Being Paid What You’re Worth? (PODCAST)

Hey guys! Happy Monday! There’s no denying it now, summer’s here and the heat is definitely on so do what you must to stay cool.

Summer doesn’t mean we’re slowing down any around here, in fact just the opposite I’d say and because of that I had to make some hard decisions. They have to do with money and those of you who know me, know how uncomfortable that makes me. But at the end of the day, it’s about business and my time.

So sit back and take a listen to today’s Monday Morning Motivation, then ask yourself, are you being paid what you’re worth and if not, what are you going to do about it?

girl, this was right on time – 3 weeks ago i quit a weekly writing gig that wasn’t paying me enough for my time – and last week i refused to lower my fee on a wedding because in the end i knew i’d end up working for free

today, my bank account is a little lower but i’m getting to spend more time with my kids and when my daughter asks me if i can play with her, i can tell her YES!!

Combing the aisles at Target in search of the best deal on Cheerios, it hit Rene Syler like the stench of a dirty diaper on a hot summer’s day. Not only is perfection overrated its utterly impossible! Suddenly empowered, she figuratively donned her cape, scooped up another taco kit for dinner and Good Enough Mother was born.
