Yeah, where IN the world am I? You know, whenever you ask that, you remind me of Cole, who must know where every family member is at all times and what time they’ll be coming home. But I’m not stupid; it’s not concern so much as control.
Anyway, I’m heading back to Indianapolis, which, as you know, is where the Super Bowl is going to be played next week. But there’s a really big event going on this weekend and it’s one that I am proud to be a part of.
You’ll recall I made a trip up there a few weeks ago and spoke at a gala benefiting the Komen Tissue Bank. It’s a really innovative idea where women can donate HEALTHY breast tissue for scientists to study as they try to unlock the mysteries behind breast cancer. Anyway, what’s terribly exciting is that the Super Bowl Host Committee is partnering with Komen to draw attention to the work they do and there’s a big tissue drive this weekend! The eyes of the world will be watching the action on the field and in the lab. Why is this important? Why should you care?
